Testarossa

Painted in 1984 when this car was brand new. My good friends at Discount Tire Co. allowed me to photograph Mr. Halle's latest ride. I was doing a series of commercial drawings of cars and tires for them that were later put into a line of T-shirts for the company.

This first year of the mid engine, 12 cylinder, Ferrari only had a drivers side mirror. Later models got a passenger mirror. An unbelievable sounding car, I would hear Mr. Halle arriving as my office was next to their Corporate Jet Hanger.
